After attending the Woodlore Foundation course and embarassingly cutting my left forefinger and damaging the extensor tendon :crutch: I have decided to sell a few things.
(The folly of buying stuff before you know what you're doing sadly :o)

Woodlore Edition Small Forest Axe
Now SOLD

Snakewood Bushcrafter - this one -

mint condition / unused. The handle is a bit wide for me (small girl's hands!) and I don't dare use it now!
SOLD to Treebeard pending funds

Gary Mill's Timber Wolf Pup.
SOLD to Savagewolfrm

Aquaguard Eliminator In-line water filter (again unused)
IMG_0149.jpg
SOLD to Twisted Firestarter

All inclusive of Postage and Packing
Will consider part exchange for Maxpedition stuff :)

sorry to hear of your mishap, you will have to come along to one of the Sussex meets when we eventually get another one organised and regain your confidence in using sharps

I nearly took my finger off second cut first outing of my SFA. Got some very good instruction and a happier user now, stick with it and remember your toes if you need to count to ten.

I've still got the scar on my finger from chopping wood you won't do it twice don't give up we all have mishaps evan the more experienced of us regards dave:lmao:

Its easily done, especially at the end of a day or when somebody distracts you, I've had a couple of sweaty brow moments with the chainsaw, and the mora and I always thought I was fastidious about my safety procedures.

Don't let it put you off though. What's the prognosis? I know they do brilliant work at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, I have a friend who is somewhat unlucky with angle grinders, and they've patched him up twice now, with very little reduction in range of movement or sensation.

Sorry to hear of your mishap.
As everyone else has said though we all do it regularly to a greater or lesser extent!
I hope your finger is soon functional again.
If you do still have the SFA I would like it please.
Cheers , Simon

I hope you are not packing it all in, we all have mishaps , you might have been under a bit of pressure when on the course.
Take it easy chill out.
Best wishes.

Trying to make a handle in the fort at bushmoot I gave my finger a nice slice doing something stupid I should have known better to try, but I was too eager to get the knife handle I was doing sorted.

Ho hummmmmm

All my friends heard was "b&%$^r, someone grab my first aid kit!"
