How on earth did you rescue the logo?

Yea, that's pretty much what is puzzeling me at the moment too ! That and I am also wondering about any replacement (blades, screwdriver, etc...) that Victorinox could do over the years, do they accept re-handled SAKs ? And if so, would you trust them to do the job :p ?

All in all, it's indeed a great looking knife :You_Rock_ (kudos to Bob). It's sentimental value just went through the roof !

You can tell by looking at it that there's a person who enjoys their craft.

How on earth did you rescue the logo?

Some SAKs have an inlaid steel logo,some are printed with silver paint.This was one of the steel ones,there is a moulding hole on the back of the plastic scale and you can gently push a pin through and pop the badge off the front.On this one, it was remounted embedded in clear epoxy resin.
