A colleague of mine is going to scotland in june and hasnt found any source for day/overnight trips with gps data. With the web as a general source for nearly every information, including what people think is worth hiking through :) maybe there are informations available somewhere? He says, that he didnt find something.
Originally he wanted to go for three weks, travel by car and make lots of hiking trips, everywhere its worth to do so. My knowledge of scotland is somehow a bit outdated and faded, having been there several times in the very early eighties. Therefore I agreed to ask here.
So if some of you can help us find some info, we would be very grateful.

Hi Oetzi,

Your friend could try this web site http://www.walkingworld.com/home/index.asp

Pretty good, some of the info is free, though the GPS data does cost a little.

If you could say where in Scotland he'll be based I'm sure some-one here could pass on some walk co-ordinates to him.

Goatboy.

I'd say Knoydart and the nearby islands would have to be worth a visit if he's over here.

There's plenty of walking in the Trossachs aswell but with a bit less drama.
