Got myself a Longstrider!!!

I recently asked Longstrider to clean up and sharpen a Bowie knife of mine and while collecting it from his home the other day he showed me this knife he was making. Well after taking one look at it and then handling it I just had to have it! Dam! Another impulse buy!!!
Well I just hope my pictures do it justice.

As anyone who has dealt with Ian will know he’s a real gent to deal with and this knife is just a joy to behold; great craftsmanship. Many thanks Ian!

i'm not chuffing surprised to be honest, that's a world away from our idea of a "working edge". i'm still kinda in shock that that's a hand sharpened edge, really really puts my "shaving sharp" edges to shame
