Well done on getting what has to be, one of the finest tents made today:You_Rock_

The tube is to match with your walking pole to act as a tent pole

A brilliant tent, you won't be dissapointed! Put the short pole on the end of your Leki pole and you don't need to carry the large pole then. You can make a cheap mozzie net for it from a mozzie net from Ikea, if you didn't get the bug nest.

put it up at the weekend and sept in it one night, very happy, kept me dry and with stood the wind very well. however left it up and checked this morning only to find a small puddle of water on the ground sheet (hex nest on its way) it was very wimd and wet and the puddle was at the door side which was pitched in to the wind (it changed direction!) as any one else experienced this? i did spray with the hose pipe concentrating on the zip area but nothing leaked through.

other than that am very happy, brill tent

thanks for any help

If you don't fully extend the pole, the fly sheet/tent almost touches the ground and the bathtub groundsheet is not fully "up" which can cause minor problems.

I use the nest with the tent, pole fully extended, and this raises the tub fully and have had no problems, plus it lets air freely circulate in the tent, which is great if you are running a stove or candle lantern (at your own risk) for food or heating

I just picked up (well almost, its on its way) one of these

looks to be an ideal solution for winter heating and maybe a little cooking in the tent, no sparks or hot embers to worry about
