Can't help looking at it. I tidied some kit away into my loft, actually climbed the ladder with it in my hand but couldn't go through with pulling the hatch down on it. As I write this it sits in the corner of my room within sight. I know I'm sad but it's just so lush. (Lowe Alpine Sting in OD). Anyone else feel similar about an inanimate object?

You need to get out more and meet/talk to real people mate.

My knives - including everyday users - hang on the wall in the living room with the strop close at hand...I will lovingly strop and polish their edges (even if they have not been used for a couple of days) as I sit by the fire....
Many of my hand carved spoons, hand made bowls, tubs, flint tools etc take the place of ornaments on the shelves and I stand and admire them when I should be doing other things - like work!
I can see loads of my favourites from where I am sitting right now!

that sounds just like my house, but then i do have woodworking bench, a metal working bench, and a sewing table in my living room. there are upsides to my better half moving away to college! back to the OP, my rucksack and daysack both hang from hooks on the living room wall just so that i can keep checking that they're safe!

my name's stuart, and i have a problem

haha I seem to collect rucksacks, I think I've got 5 at the last count but some are back home in the UK :) I want to get one of the ultralight ones next, it never ends :p

Come on come on come on come on, what are they? In order of the dates you bought them. Please.

The banks of the Deveron.
I love my bits and bobs. Sometimes I feel real remorse when I sell a knife. The F1 with Elm burr is the only one I really still miss.

The only thing I really can't put away is my CF Manix 2 with S90V blade. Turned down an amazing deal for it two days ago......

When i was 14 my parents allowed me to get my first air rifle .

The day after getting it my mum came in to wake me for school,
and there i was in bed sleeping with my nice new shiny bsa airsporter .

God i loved that gun, in a manly gung ho sort of way of course:confused:

WAAAAY TOO MANY rucksacks in the garden shed, even after last years enforced cull (boot sale). Still feel the need to keep the main users in the house, where I can see them. Bought a new Leatherman just after New Year, still find myself taking it to bed with me each night (just in case I need a midnight multi tool)

hmmmm

too much?
