Well, we have this great thing going on. called the gift-it-on-thread (GIO for insiders :rolleyes:), but how much of these great gifts are actually being used?

Let me kick off by showing the items I got and what I am doing with them;
My first one, a german OG poncho;

My second one, a shemagh, never materialised,

My third one, a set of doublesided, stainless steel mugs;

My forth one, a french gasmaskbag. Modded into a small backpack for my youngest daughter, but it hasn't been used... yet!

My fifth one, a woolen army, proved to be too small,

And my latest, a kuksa, which I reworked;

Many thanks to all those kind enough to send these gifts to me!

Great idea!
The poncho and the cup are still with me whenever I am out, the mugs ride with the family outdoor cookingkit and get used then.
The gasmask/backpack has been used well by my little one, but now she really has outgrown it. It is being repurposed the become a pouch for a cookingkit or something.
