I have a question about the sizing of german army para boots.
What is the fit like on these? Wide? Small/tight?
Im a size 10 and have wide feet, would a size 10 in these be ok for me with a pair of walking socks underneath?

I cannot comment on the boots, but do be aware that continental sizes differ slightly to UK ones, if I recall correcty their size 41 would be our size 40. Please don't take this as gospel but it is worth checking.

In altberg boots i take an 11 wide, but i find altbergs come up small on me. In the para boots i take a 295 107, this is the size on the tongue, and i think it is a 44.5.

Hope this helps.

I have a pair and I am an 11 in all my shoes boots etc so I bought 11's but they are slightly on the bog side with hiking socks on so I would recommend half a size down maybe?

This is a useful link to work out the proper Boot size:

http://www.convertworld.com/en/shoe-size/Mondopoint.html

And yes most Nato type military boots seem to be at least 1/2 if not one size bigger since been thought 2 pairs of supposedly size 9 Brit army boots bought online that when I checked out the Modopoint system where 9.5 and the old worn out comfy pair I had where actually a 8.5 Large fitting so you really need to try before you buy. Since most older boots have a S,M,L width fitting as well as the length.

German Para boots are very wide and deep. hey are really good boots, but they do not fit me well. I've experimented with various insoles and got them somewhere near, but I think I'm going to have to look for an alternative.
