hey i know a daft thread to start but a drubk driver knocked me off my motorbike a few days ago -though im not seriously hurt in any way im ache as hell - tarmac is a hard thing to hit - so im stuck by the lappy at the moment - will try to avoid more daft posts

thankfully it wasnt my zzr that got hit . im in thailand and i was on a hired bike .
amazingly enough there is next to no damage also thankfully it was cold here and i was wearing a couple of fleeces and jeans .yeah lady tarmac is a hard woman

If there's one thing you can rely on with Bush, it's a never-ending flow of hilarous quotes. Dead Ringers will never be out of a job when he's in power.

At the start of a new political term, we feel confident in the leader that we elect, he/she is finally a good politian here to save the day. Give it two years and we turn on them like savages and expose all their faults. I fail to see anywhere in the news where the government is praised for what they achieve, which, in my eyes, is striving for social welfare under an essentially anti-social capitalist market system.

I agree that seemingly every political body anywhere has its shortcomings, and the democratic system is in places fundamentally flawed, but would a "normal" person who would be considered a "good" leader ever look good when we attack them so? After all, they're only human.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I can't find that rule in the rules and regulations thread. If it is a rule then I think it should be made clearer, I certainly wasn't aware of it myself, although I seem to dimly remember some talk about politics.
