Decidedly un-politically, one of my favourite Bush quotes was in response to a minor hiccough at NASA........

I am closing this thread.
I can see no real purpose or benefit to it, it's three pages of random comments tending to an anti-politician ramble. In the normal way of things, nothing has yet been said that is counter to the rules and regs, but I don't see that there is anywhere for this thread to do but go down hill.

Ideally this thread would quietly slip away. By closing it I hope to speed its departure and let us all move on to participating in more worthwhile threads.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I can't find that rule in the rules and regulations thread. If it is a rule then I think it should be made clearer, I certainly wasn't aware of it myself, although I seem to dimly remember some talk about politics.

Which is found in the rules and Regs section and contains the following words

Do not make negative remarks, participate in gossip or hearsay on this forum in reference to any persons. If you feel the need to do so, do it somewhere else. If you cannot resist doing it on this forum you will be banned.

That seems quite straight forward to me
