GB axes

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
I pack an axe for canoe trips but don't bother if I'm hiking. Uses are mainly processing firewood, that could be taking dead standing or simply splitting down the bigger stuff, maybe a little bit of carving props or utensils but that's not really my bag.

I have the mini, the wildlife and the sfa and they all get used esp the sfa doing the kindling the great thing about the GB axes is they are a piece of art, they are beautiful to look at and use, also just recently I had my sfa chip a large section of the blade while cleaning up a stump I sent it back to GB and with no issues they sent a new one back to me. they hold a great edge, other than my sandvik felling axe I've had for over 20yrs with same handle I don't think i would want to use any other axe's
