Not that I know of; but the silicon sheet stuff that I recommended earlier works very well indeed inside the thin aluminium camping pots .

I know what you mean about being reluctant to scour an old thin pot though; I have and still use my Granny's brass jeely pan, but press on the bottom of it now and it goes 'boing' :rolleyes:

It seemed so plausible at the time, but with hindsight, I agree, the aluminium works well as cooking pots.

Anyone tried seasoning the pan/pot?

As in heating oil in it to produce a non-stick surface?

Never occured to me before to do it to mess tin but I can't think why it shouldn't be done.

That's a point. Well used stainless pans do fry eggs better than new ones, but I think the food sticky problem is a bit less obvious Mr bulb.

Edit. Given that's it's stainless steel, a wire scourer will have the burned stuff of in no time, andyou can't damage the pan.
