Flint in Northumberland

Going up to the beach somewhere around bamburgh castle and wondered if anybody has actually found flint there? If so, where?
Any pointers appreciated

Forgot to mention that I found loads between Sunderland and Newcastle when I didn't want any. Now I want a couple of large pieces, they seem to be as rare as hen's teeth. Story of my life

No problem. You don't want to be on the beach near Charlton's pub. Park in the car park about a quarter of a mile south and go onto the beach there.

Found quite a lot of flint on Sunderland beach. Pretty pleased with the haul, enough for grandchild, friends and myself !!
Should I start flint knapping?
