Howdy folks
I just thought I'd ask, for future projects, anyone know where I can buy flat steel stock? I'm not really too sure what to use, but the one I've heard most about is O1... just something good enough for making some decent knives

Cheers folks!
Pete

EDIT: meh... now it's posted I'm guessing this should be in "Resources" could someone move if this is in the wrong place?

I got mine from http://www.toolsteels.co.uk/pricelists.htm# (Phoenix Steel in Sheffield) They only charged me £8 delivery on 4 one metre lengths (I think £8 is their standard charge) and their prices seemed cheaper than Cromwells. I figured that the £8 was well spent to save a trip in the car to collect from my nearest Cromwells which is about 20 miles away.

I guess the best deal depends on how close your nearest branch of Cromwells is, and how much steel you see yourself buying.
