I want to make a fish trap or two, the torpedo shaped thing with the one way entrance but don't have acess to lots of wood for making them so I was thinking I could use my old chum the bramble for the framework.

I would think they would supply the required rigidity but if not I could twine thinner brambles to providing this.

Has anyone used brqmbles for them and are they any use?

Not done it personally but it sounds like a good idea. Only thing is would you remove the thorns, i cant think off of the top of my head the advatages of leaving them on, but it would be time consuming to remove them, but tricky to make with them in place.
