First outing of the year.

Home for three nights.
First outing of the year proved a mixed bag weatherwise. Thursday setup in lovely sunshine, but Friday rained heavily all day. Saturday warm and bright, but got chilly towards the evening. Packing away Sunday morning the tarps were damp from an early morning mist, but hammock and bag were fine.
Some long walks, cooking over a wood stove and comfortable nights under the tarp, made for an enjoyable, if not muddy weekend, that proved to be good for the soul.
