My first Kuksa, made from beech with a mother of pearl insert all hand carved using mora spoon knives,my brads axe sandpaper and 3 days of elbow grease. Thanks for looking :)

Oh, that's a beauty for sure. How'd you find carving beech? Was the wood seasoned?

Thank you :). I found a length full of burls on the shore at Amroth, it was still very green. I found it a lot softer to carve than I expected

Amroth you say, very nice part of the world that. So it's not dried out yet? No sign of splitting too. You have to be very happy with it.
