First knife and sheath

Two firsts for me here, I thought I'd start with something easy so this is a lapplander 90 blade with black liners and oak scales (from a piece of furniture). I made loads of mistakes but I guess that's one way to learn and I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to finish my next one. The sheath is made from some scraps of leather I bought a while back.

I should really attempt this myself, looks really good Heath, how did you go on with the handle of the knife?.

I know what you mean about mistakes help you learn. Biggest thing is to take your time.

Very nice! I like the overall shape--handle and blade. Sheath looks good too. You should get a lot of good use out of that one.
