First Cuckoo !

Still haven't heard one this year, despite listening hard. I always love to hear them. Such a wonderful note that they have.
As always Mr. W you know how to four-stars me off! Revenge will be sweet when it comes my friend. 
My dear Mr N , I was merely pointing out that i had heard the first cuckoo of summer , and was sharing it with anyone who might have been interested, i was a little preturbed that a certain Mr S , had heard the said bird some hours earlier, and yet i do not resort to idle threats .
I therefore advise you to get your skates on and relocate to Devon , and we can put an end ,once and for all to this petty jealousy .
By the way the sirloin steak with all the trimmings, the whole chicken done in the dutch oven , oh! and the most amazing full english this morning ,and of course weather and company , had nothing to do with a great weekend , topped only by the sound of the cuckoo , gambolling new born lambs , fighting cock pheasants ,close up roe deer , Oh ! i won't go on .
Anyway how are you pal ? well i hope , see you soon , only i am a bit tired .
