first attempt at a wood spirit

Well, you've got to do it, haven't you. Just a bit of sycamore I had knocking around.



I think this is the first bit of figurative stuff I've done. Didn't intend for the cheekbones to end up level with the bottom of the nose, but it ended up looking OK. Might have another go soon.

Looks good Leif, the cheeks are fine. The bottom of your cheekbones are in line with nose bottom anyway - well mine are & I don't look too weird. Makes him look like he should be gnawing a shield berserker style.

Wood spirits are awesome, and so is that one! Almost reminds me of that four headed Slavic god carved on posts in eastern Europe.
