I have discovered a good way of getting a fire started using a firesteel and iron wool. Iron wool ignites easily to embers and creates alot of heat, if you put some into/onto your tinder, spark it and blow, you will get a fire in no time. The good thing about this is, it is cheap, light and can be used again and again.

Try it and tell me bout your ideas, as i am new to bushcraft and have little experience in the specific field.

Thanks,

Jake Rollnick
