I like a good redemption story, 'Unforgiven' (as already mentioned) being a firm favourite. In fact, I think old Clint has made some exceptional films. 'Josey Wales' being another one that stands out. What sort or genre of movies interest you?
Hitchcock's 'Rear Window' would be high up on my list. I like those simple concepts that are well executed. Jimmy Stewart is always good to watch.
I also enjoy a lot of British cinema. Mike Leigh films always hold an appeal. Films where not much actually happens, but just really good character studies, and very funny. 'Withnail & I' is another of that ilk.
I'd like to watch 'This is England' again at some point.
Grew up watching 80's Hong Kong gangster films. Good solid themes of brotherhood and loyalty.
And, of course, one of the greatest movies of our time 'Gladiator'. That gets a viewing at least once a year.
