Hi All,
Just noticed that the FSC throughout the year run a few short courses such as:
Survival for beginners, Wild food & medicine and Beginners guide to fungi etc.

Has anyone out there been on any of these FSC courses? If so what were they like?

All the best....Paul

Hi Paul,

Although I have not attended any of the courses mentioned I did - quite a few years ago - attend a FSC course on bat conservation and it was very well run and definately worth the time and money.

If you decide to attend any give us a write up on how you got on, I'd be interested.

Yes, I've been on lots and on a variety of subjects. They do differ and some are better than others, as do the Field centres themselves. I would certainly go on others but I would suggest that, if you can afford it, or get someone else to pay, go for the single occupancy of the double room. What course(s) were you thinking of going on and which Field Centre? :)
