Some months ago a large trunk of Lebanon cedar was cut just in the front of my car park. After asking the permission to remove some big logs, I collected a lot of wood and now it's seasoning for future projects. After the first cuts doen for storage, some offcuts were left. Because fo their scent is incredible and the grain was lovely I didn't use them for the fireplace and tried to make something with sense. Here the results:

Oh you lucky, lucky, man :D

Even the shavings are worth keeping in a bowl just for the smell :D

Nice spoonage  and that's a neat way of using the timber and storing them.

cheers,
Toddy

The smell of cedar is amazing. I had a resinous piece that smelled like boiled sweets. It was gorgeous, but it was like carving glass it was so hard!

You made good use of the wood there. As a thought, a simple shaped piece with a hole in it for a bit of cord would make a nice air freshener for the car.
