Some of us don't do facebook, instagram or whatsapp.....but see when the internet goes down ? now that's a right royal annoyance.

Mewe is better than fb and Telegram more secure than WhatsApp... not a fan of Zuckerman, since I received infractions and bans for posting memes I found on fb months after they were posted in private exforces groups.

one one side it's frustrating: as a result of a (semi)nomadic lifestyle for over a decade i've friends all over the earth disk and keeping in touch with them was much easier with fb (instead of hundreds of emails/ letters)
on the other side i'm (like many others) increasingly p***ed off with their censorship -- on several occasions i've got notifications telling me my posts were oh-so not true and that fb "generously" edited my posts .... .even though they were clearly marked as either an artist's interpretation of events of as my own personal opinion -- most of them in connection to a virus which "mysteriously" popped out of someone's closet last year. not to mention being pestered the whole time to get vaccine infos even though i made my point of view clear about NOT being interested in enough occasions....

Seriously though, when one forum crashes, we have others we keep as back ups, and other ones we visit more frequently.
Isn't there something else for those who do do the facebook thingie ?
