Scotland, looking at mountains
I just received the above garment from EOC (Keith Howes), my interest having been triggered by the Where Eagles Dare Parka on his website. The jacket is made to measure in K2 Karisma fleece, a superb design, windproof, hard wearing, pockets that work well with a rucksack hipbelt, map pockets, very high standard of manufacture and fits like a glove. It also fits perfectly under a Ventile smock and makes a bombproof combination. All for about £75. My Paramo Taiga jacket and various latest soft-shells will be going up for sale because they are now redundant. I'm very chuffed!

FOOTNOTE : in case anyone finds this thread, Keith has now more or less stopped making stuff and is spending his time on other priorities. If you can persuade him to make something, it'll take him six months!

I've got the same Explorer as the phot and can agree its a superb bit of kit. Next bit to get is the Field Smock that Keith makes , a friend had one made up just this side of Christmas and its again a superb bit of clothing.

I have used a lot of EODs clothing over the years - belting kit, cant fault it!
His version (no longer available) of the '60s SAS smock was the best ever...I wear it for rough work these days as it has a couple of cuts and tears here and there...but it is still going strong!
I was wearing it this morning to do a bit of "hand tool wood extraction" in my local woods - it is great for rough, dirty work like axe, billhook and bowsaw on and carrying of slimey felled wood!
I also have the shorts that are great for summer canoe work and other bits and pieces - bombproof!

Here are the pics of the fleece - in fact very smock-like to wear and the hood design works perfectly under a hooded smock. Note thumbholes on sleeves and attachment points by chest pockets for compass etc. All in all very well thought through.

I see he's changed the design and location of the Chest Zips very slightly , looks a better setup then mine as I'm always deleving into the 'wrong' zip pocket looking for something.
The interior pockets around the Rib cage are quite voluminous aswell , but I think would benefit from a velcro closure or Zip to stop shineys falling out.
