Another fine day was had in Wiltshire, this weather sure is good for the soul as well a S.A.D ,so having a bit of get-up-and-go we got-up-and-went to a woods we spotted on the OS map just 10 miles from my home.
After a trip to the shop we arrived at Easleigh woods ,it is a mixed bag of species of trees,a few pines in the interior and some deciduouse dotted about with plenty of rowan, ash and hazel around the edges, there was more than just a few game birds about so we kept the dogs close and under proper control,we saw signs of Roe and Fallow deer too. Our route took us along the north east side of the woods a total circuit of about 3 miles which was enough for the kids really as they were running all over the place and probably clocked up 10 miles! lol
heres a few pics from our trip out, btw anyone ID the bug?
