End of Feb 3 day location advice

Planning a trip for the end of Feb for 2 nights and we're coming from Bristol direction, Somewhere with a pine forest would be nice and that we can do a bit of exploring. wonder where the quickest but reasonably out the way place to camp is. We don't want to spend a day travelling each way as that will eat our time. Where's the best place?
