I have an old Elwell Golok that is puzzling me a bit. It is marked with the Elwell 'king of spades' mark and what appears to be an order number or id number but no broad arrow. Its slightly longer than a standard martindale. The handle is shaped like the tapered ww1-ww2 British army machette but of higher quality construction and of 'hand and a half length. I will post a picture when Im next in my storeroom.
