i have a batch on the go (first attempt) and it is looking decidedly mouldy on top, after 4 days, where have I gone wrong?
We are talking the blue/green mould not the frothy yeasty growth one sees in the videos on the tube.
Cheers, Rob.

mine did that first time too, I just scooped it off the top (was on the heads not in the juice). Then it exploded all over when I bottled it

The blue-green mold is possibly Apergillis. KEEP YOUR NOSE OUT OF THAT.
Aspergillosis is a fungus lung disease which is extremely difficult to manage/cure.

Very slowly and carefully scoop the mold into a container with a secure lid.

Oh piddle!
I thought that might be the consensus from those that know better than me.
I hope to fair better with the berries later this year, nothing ventured is nothing gained, so at least I have learnt something.

:thankyou:

Rob.
