I keep an Honest jet flame in with the Lixada ti lidded pot and stove. I don’t really carry a lighter these day, used to love my Zippo, and put a Z-Plus butane insert into it, making it truly practical and reliable.

Also have the famous Douglass S Field Lighter, and one of each of the Douglass Neo range. I really ought to sell all those, I don’t use them, but they’re lovely things. Worth googling the Douglass lighters, apologies for not posting pics but I’m not at home.

I like the ritual of using a flint and steel, so I tend to keep this to hand. It packs up pretty small. There's usually a lighter in a bag or pocket as a back up too.

I normally have a zippo on me and have done since I was a late teen, back then it was for lighting my roll up cigarettes but some years ago I switched to smoking a pipe but still use a zippo to light it.
