It`s a woody clone alright, any idea who the maker is ?

What`s the price ? (I`ve fallen out with ebay at the moment so I won`t be having a look)

Like you say, the specs sound okay

Hi Mate

Quote, "English Made Bushcraft Knife by Arthur Wright and Sons Sheffield.

Working in the expedition industry a good knife is always high on my packing list, unfortunately ridiculous waiting lists, or massive price tags of knives from closed down factories made me seek a more realistic alternative.

I worked with traditional Sheffield knife maker Arthur Wright and Sons to come up with a high quality durable alternative to discontinued prices or custom waiting lists. Although the knives are “factory made” many of the processes are carried out by craftsmen giving the handmade feel, without the costs incurred."

Priced at £105.49 inc P&P

Any ideas on the maker? I am tempted as it seems a good price but I am hopeful that Elma is going to offer me an artisan handmade tool!

I have handled a couple of them and they are not great , just a bit rough around the edges with a fairly poor grind and a terrible sheath.
A stall at a game fair hada half a dozen last year and they all looked much the same.
I'd say there are much better knives around for the same or less money.

I've seen reviews expressing the same view as Rapidboy IIRC, I think on BB.

The size of that ricasso is ludicrous! IMO, of course.
