LA Sting. I got one from Endicotts, here. I think I paid £50 including side pockets.

Really great bags! Paid 100 quid for a mint second hand one here in Malaysia. Got the rarer OD one though, great bag and really tough. Not the best suspension system ever but its better than a bergen.

I use one. paid 50 with rocket side pockets from military mart. Bomb proof! Good spot!

Be careful, there are LA versions (with LA stamped on the snaps keeping the frame) and ARWY versions. The latter are not the same quality as the LA version.

Mine has LA stamped on the press studs and came with a Lowe Alpine leaflet in Dutch.

I weighed mine at 2.8kg when I got it. This is without the straps to turn side pockets into a day pack and without the extra straps on the exterior of the sidepockets.
Re: their availability. I know Endicotts usually has them, but any PLCE pockets will fit.

Mine arrived today and it weighed 2.35kg empty, without any extras. Lovely quality and made 28kg feel like nothing!

Hi, yea sounds good, but will have to wait a while as I'm all spent up at the moment and have to pay a deposit on a new place at the end of the month, so hold on to them for me!
Mines not actually a Lowe Alpine but a ARWY version, however the quality is still great. Anyone know the differences between the LA and ARWY versions??
