Here is a drinking bowl I was commissioned to make for a wedding. Made from locally grown Walnut.

Arth that's beautiful! Almost makes one consider getting married...

I want to learn to carve things, I'm not terribly artistic though. Maybe I'll give it a go when I'm bored at festies in the summer, during the few hours between my breakfast and when the rest of the field wakes up.

Sorry didn't think about taking a picture of the bottom, it's packed up now so I can't take one.

I used Danish oil as a sealant/finish.

You don't have get married to own a drinking bowl. It would be far cheaper just to buy one.
