Lost in the woods
My better half took me to Lewes today for lunch, whilst there I picked up this draw knife.
The antique type shop is on the left over the bridge just past the brewery. Plenty of axes and stuff there to look at.
The asking price was £20.00, but looking on the ticket there is a letter T and 2, this means TRADE off. i.e. £2.00
So I got it for £18.00. It looks better in the flesh, hardly any use I'd say.
Funny thing is I also saw two bodgers in the street also.

Not too shabby at all.

Looks to me like that grind needs to be tidied up a wee bit, but that's nothing major.

Best of luck with it!

Andy

@ Mac, the grind I am working on, it does seem a bit shallow, but I have used it and was well impressed.
The thickness of the steel must be around 5 mill much thicker than my other French one.
@ Dougster, You could be right about putting money before taking it off.
Whilst I was in the same street I saw a Clog makers bodger for sale in one shop for £150. and another interesting one outside another shop.
I have taken some photos on my phone but at the moment cant get them into my pc, no software.
