Does anyone wear the lavvu poncho?

I was looking at buying a lavvu from military mart (I hear I'm supposed to request the 3 popper type and they'll know what I want).

A lot of peeps have mentioned that they are quite heavy but does anyone actually wear them as a poncho on their way to camping spot?

There are a few pics and they look pretty LOTR which appeals to me greatly!

I think Ged does, when we feckless 5 where at shining cliff he turned up with one on through the dark and I do see the LOTR thing with them!

Yep, i'v worn one all winter long for about three years when i'm shooting at night. The hood leaves a lot to be desired and needs a brimmed hat really but other than that i love it

Worn mine in my teens through my scout days. Best thing about it is the breathable fabric so you can just wrap yourself in it and have a nap during a guard duty
Good as any poncho/cape really.
