No idea on weight, at a guess 5kg?

Temp wise, I have slept in the sleeping bag at -5 with no trouble. The plus side of this system is I can get in between any of the layers depending on temp. I.e. under both layers of the sleeping bag. Or worst case under the mattress, sleeping bag and fleece layer........

Time will tell on the temp rating!

I just love it!
Here's some more specific questions;
Is the top canvas held in place with snapbuttons?
How do you get in and out? Maybe some pics when in use??

Too bad I don't like fleece too much, so I'm looking to tweek my woolblanket bedroll. Just to see if I can get more warmth per kilo. (Mines almost 5kg too)

The top canvas simply flaps over for the top 3rd (it has an extra 6" flap for keeping the weather out) the bottom 2/ 3rds
Is fixed

Getting in is simply a case of clinmbing in the top 3rd.

Once I get home I will post some pics of it in use

The sleeping bag has a light nylon hood section (this is to hold it to a fishing chair) but in this shot it is over my head, good for keeping the really cold draughts out. Is is very breathable so I wont sufocate

Any other thoughts let me know

Well gave it a go last night, down to -5c. Woke up with frost on the outer bag, I was toasty and warm all night. Seems like a good piece of kit.
