As some of you may have seen I was trying to trade some canvas and PVC to make a bedroll. Well I drew a blank on the pvc but Tengu and I managed to work out a deal on some light brown and bright green canvas. Anyway after a festive season of sewing here is the result.

It was never intended to be a light weight option, it was solely inteded for car camping, in the tipi, cabins, mates floors bivis etc

Once it was sewn up I dyed the whole thing OG. I am happy with the result!

It is big, heavy and bomb proof, and at 3ft x 7ft roomy!

Let me know what you think

That looks great, I'm going to find the time to make mine now.

The canvas I've got is 3' wide too, which is much narrower than the commercial ones. Do you find it restrictive at all?

Cheers, Michael.

Not at all 3ft was the size of my fishing bag much larger then a normal mummy bag, the box sides help the dimensions are 7ft x 3ft x 0.5ft

That looks very very good!
A professional job, if I may say so!

What kind of temperatures were you intending this setup for and how much does it weigh?
