Display Mode

Is there any way I can set my display mode to linear by default? I prefer this layout :?:

Yep Dave there is.

Go into User CP, then into Edit Options on the left hand panel.

Then I think the third one down has Thread Display Options

Set them to what you want and then save at the bottom of the page, hope this works for you

The problem with that is it doesn't make the selection default. When you log in again it reverts to your saved preferences in the user cp.

Just out of interest what setting does everyone use?:?:
I use the linear oldest first, seems to make most sense to me.

I think it was newest first when I arrived which confused me. Then I had to work out how to change it! :roll:

I'm on newest first... it threw me to start with but now I love it because with long threads the first page has the important stuff. And the threads I haven't read are usually short because they are new, so they are only one page. Ideal
