Former US Army transit case, sold to the MOD where it did a few years carrying night vision scopes now released back into the wilds of North Wales. Impact resistant (aka squaddy proof) construction with water/air tight seal and butterfly twist fasteners. Dimpled for your pleasure easy stacking. Only available in green.
Just the right size for a vehicle first aid kit or that precious camera gear, strong enough to sit on and could probably work well as a tactical beer cooler. IMHO a rather nice alternative to the more common steel ammo can. There is some trace of the glue used to hold the original foam insert in place but appears to come away with a bit of elbow grease and a scraper. It's a bit heavy for backpacking any serious distance but if you have gear that needs to be protected at all cost this is going to be way better than any tupperware alternative.
