Figured I show you guys and girls what I made a while back. A spear!


When my friend brought it to me it was a heavily rusted and beat up old brush hook/slasher with a snapped tip! God knows what the original owner had been doing with it but my buddy wanted to keep it as a wall display.
So I drew a new shape on the blade with a pen and got to work, cutting away steel, shaping and shining it up! I gave the handle a burn and oil too which brought out the grain and have it a more decorative look. I put an edge on it and kept the steel cool the whole time so it should 'work' should it be put to use I'm the 'field' Lol.
I know some of you may think its a bit evil to modify vintage tools, but it brings more enjoyment like this than it could have before and it does look nice!
