I have over-the-head smocks from Westwinds and Hilltrek and a Ventile SASSkit smock/jacket. Although initially very keen on over the head style, I find it a real pain to get on and off, especially if a noctural sortie from the tent is required in the rain. So now I prefer a jacket style with a full zip. I was also really attracted initially to all the pockets on the SASSkit smock but I find them a bit fussy, especially when the jacket gets wet and stiff. Quality on the SASSkit jacket is superb.
