Leah Rose - this is one of my favourite Dylan songs and one I turn to often

One day, Leah will be telling her own grandkids about the mad cousin who taught her the beauty of the world around her.

Keep the faith.

With very best wishes
David

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young.

I'm just about to go to sleep. She will be on my mind. Our son was 2 months premature and my wife was touch and go in intensive care at the same time. It was tough and I pity you and those around you going through this and hope you have your prayers answered. My wife is asleep next to me now and my son is 10 years old already and yet I'm crying again now.

I hope she finds the strength and you all do too. All my best wishes...

FWIW, our son was 3lb 5oz - a bag of bones. There is always hope.

As with several others, my daughter was born early and was in special care for quite a while. They are tough little things.
Sending our best wishes from me, Emma and Ivy (1 now and full of mischief). The medical staff k ow what they are doing so trust in them.

Just had an update.

Her condition is inoperable.
There is nothing they can do.
Now it's just a matter of time until she slips away.

Thanks everyone so very much for you kind words and thoughts, it has really made a big difference.

:( I am so sorry to hear that news WB. I don't know what else to say really as words seem so insignificant at times like this.

Little Leah and her parents will be in my thoughts during this terribly difficult time for them.
