this was the first time with synthetic bits, its green and white fleckd corian, the liners I cut from a box some Teng tools came in and the pins were some random rod, i think its a steel but i'm not sure, it was in my aircraft tool bits.the blade I bought from wandering blade it's 440 steel 3mm in the falki wm1 shape.
lessons on this one. tape does not protect the blade so i switched to a leather wrap, corian is a bitch to work with hand tools, must get a belt sander and i need a bigger vice.

Cheers dude! i don't think i'll use pastic or corrian again though, the smell just isn't right, it didn't feel fun like when i try woods and leather.I'm looking for a bigger vice now though to give blade making a go. i'm currently mocking up one of those beveling file jig things and the mo.I really recomend anyone having a go at putting your own handle on a knife, it's great fun.
