Condor Kephart

Morning All
heinne is now selling the condor kephart
has anyone got one? or used one?
i'll end up buying one anyway as i have a strange urge to own the blades that authors i admire recommend.
i was wondering on quality of condor in general having never owned one anything i need to be aware of?

I've owned the nessmuk and the 4" bushcraft model. The nessmuk was nice, tough and took a good edge and the sheath was amazing quality. I used it a fair bit but no longer have it, I'd say for the money it was great!

The bushcraft 4" was also nice, but.. not nice enough for me to keep. It came without a tip.. and I wanted a tip (blade tip). The sheaths aren't the lovely black ones anymore either, but thinner brown ones. Handles are tough and primative, something I liked and for the £30 mark they are a good alternative to a mora!

The black coating on the blades is alright, looks a bit 'meh' but will protect the knife, I've seen some that have been sanded down and they looked great! (I sanded the blasted finish off of my nessmuk)

the one you want looks like a no fuss all rounder, something that will of course last many years, so go for it!

then write a review!

I ordered one from knifecenter a couple months ago. I think they had a couple and then sold out quickly just before my order. If Heinne has 'em, I'm hoping knifecenter will be getting a fresh order in soon as well. I get the impression that Condor tries pretty hard to deliver a quality product at a pretty decent price. I have yet to be disappointed in their knives, given the price I paid.

never encountered condor before in the real world so it shall be interesting to see what they are like

They are a little bit more, but the knives that Mario(MLL Knives)is turning out look great value for money.

I own and (heavily) use both Condor and MLL knives, the Golok and Desert respectively. Both are punching way above their respective price points.
