I have got hold of a GB army arctic sleeping bag.

I need a compression sack to managed it a bit.

could i make my own, or should I get a proper military one (slightly different design.)

or does anyone have a spare?

also, how are they stowed on the bergan?

You could try your local surplus shop. Most have spare compression sacks lying round. If you have no luck with them, I would jsut get a large compression sack for about £6 from most stores.

Sorry I couldn't give any specific dealers.

Just stuff it inside when its loose, it fills all the little spaces stops things rattleing pads your bergan out and makes people think that you are carring a gigantic load!!!

I would say make your own but then I try to save money at all times!
Otherwise get a big pack and stomp it in and pack loose gear around it - even cheaper!
