To go with one of my "Small gods" Woodspirit type carving, one of my friends wanted a "goddess" to keep him company...
I call her "Ayla"...the finish is deliberate and she was carved only using the knife shown, from wood from our woodpile

I have not seen the original - but when we were on Orkney earlier this year every tourist shop seemed to have repros of "The Westrey Wifey" in the form of everything from keyrings to pendants
When I get some more Old Red Sandstone I may try carving one as well
