I would suggest doing it like a carpet with a wet and dry vac. If the skin gets wet and dries it is likly to get hard, so treat it like a shag pile rug . ;-)

Anyone got any tips for cleaning sheepskin? Is it a case of a bath of luke warm water and pure soap flakes? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Was it little Jed, the dogs or just mud?
Just mud then let it dry and give it a good beating (as a sheep would when alive).
Either of the others and you are on your own mate!

:D Cheers John, it's the dogs i'm afraid, it's stinking now. They must have laid on it as soon as they came out of the river.

Thanks Sandsnakes, i'll give it a go!;)
