circular sawblade knife,work in progress.

as some of you may have noticed all my knives are made from saw blades,and ime gradually working my way through a gugh14" job at the moment!and heres a 'work in progress' picture,total length is about 7 inches,so far ive spent 9 hours cutting,grinding,sanding ,polishing heat treating and polishing again!
next is the walnut handle!

What do you use to cut the knife out of the saw blade...?

just my trusty dremmel! takes a while but it doesnt get too hot.

and here it is! the finished knife,just the sheath left to make,i may have to buy some leather specifically for the job.
sadly my camera doesnt show the grain well,but its a nice bit of walnut.

Nice one...I have made a few knives from old machine hack saw blades, which I ground into shape using a bench grinder and plenty of water. Thet seem to hold a good edge too, which surprised me...
