Got given one of these for Christmas. It's essentially a fleece balaclava but has a longer neck that you can double up inside to cover your mouth & nose if it's really cold. It also has an innovative system of toggles to keep it out of your eyes.

I've been wearing it almost constantly - really comfy under a hood and inside the house you can just wear it as a neck warmer
